THE MEANING OF “BI’GUD”

Bi’gud ביגוד : “clothing” or “to put on your whole outfit”

When naming the brand, we really wanted to take our time and pray into it. Honestly, we wanted the Lord to just name it for us because we believe He is the greatest creative to ever live. We prayed for months and felt like the Lord was prompting us to look into the Hebrew language. One night, we stumbled upon “bi’gud” and everything clicked: Be Good Bi’Gud. We were stunned when we got this audio recording confirming that it was even pronounced the same. Check out this audio message from a friend who speaks fluent Hebrew that confirmed everything!

WHO WE ARE

We believe that goodness is not just an abstract concept, but a way of being that is rooted in the character and essence of God.

Founded in 2024, on the verse:

This is what I have seen to Be Good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life… They seldom reflect on the days of their life, because god keeps them occupied with JOY in their heart. Ecclesiastes 5:18

We are on a mission for Jesus’ Church to be known for artful expression and generosity that goes beyond expectations once again. Through our thoughtfully crafted clothing collections, we aim to weave a narrative that goes beyond fashion and create a space for you to contribute to something bigger than yourself.

HOW WE WORK

Be Good partners with a different non-profit for each collection, giving us the opportunity to keep our collections completely unique in messaging and design - there truly is something for everyone. 

Our team fully vets each non-profit, visiting their facilities and ensuring they meet our standards for partnership. This is way more than just a collaboration to us, it’s a partnership that we deeply care about. We want to know our partners and the people who benefit from their ministries. By building these relationships, we have the ability to continue helping them move forward in their mission.
